Semin comes up with a brilliant play for his POY nomination, creating opportunity out of what seemed like a broken play. With great vision, Semin picks up the puck to the right of the goalie and makes an incredible, no-look pass that you have to see to believe. The puck ends up right on the tape of Jiri Tlustys stick who pops it in the wide-open net with ease. Nashs POY entry is also an incredible play, with Nash showing off his strength, hands and vision all in one swift moment. Nash picks up the puck at the blue line and pushes into the offensive zone, making his move, he cuts back to the middle, absolutely embarrasses one Boston defender, eludes another and finally makes a mind-boggling pass that Carl Hagelin has no trouble depositing in the gaping goal.
